The approval fulfilled his promise during a BBC Hausa programme, “A Fada Acika,” when a casual worker from Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, pleaded for the regularisation of employment of casual staff in the civil service.

The state commissioner for Health, Comrade Yunusa Musa Ismail, announced this yesterday in his office at Gwadangaji Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi where he presented the permanent employment letters on behalf of the governor to the absorbed workers.

Yunusa added that the process was approved by the governor, culminating in the issuance of permanent offers to 233 staff members of Sir Yahaya Memorial Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, and Kebbi Medical Centre, Kalgo.

He recalled that on January 1st of this year, Governor Nasir Idris was the Special Guest at an interactive session on the BBC Hausa program ‘A Fada Acika,’ where he made such a promise.
