Governor Dauda Lawal has pledged to deepen ongoing reforms, improve public service delivery, strengthen institutional capacity, and deliver measurable outcomes for the people of Zamfara State.

The governor revealed this on the sidelines of the Presidential Launch of the NG-CARES Additional Financing (AF), SOLID and HOPE Programmes (HOPE-GOV, HOPE-EDU & HOPE-PHC) held recently at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja.

The governor was represented at the event by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Nakwada.

Mr Lawal said the launch underscores the Federal Government’s commitment, in collaboration with the World Bank and State Governments, to advancing governance reforms and strengthening primary healthcare.

He said the commitment would also go a long way in improving basic education, expanding social protection, and enhancing livelihoods for vulnerable households across Nigeria.

“For Zamfara State, these programmes present a significant opportunity to deepen ongoing reforms, improve public service delivery, strengthen institutional capacity, and deliver measurable outcomes for our people,” he said.

He said the Zamfara State Government, under the leadership of Governor Lawal, remains fully committed to working closely with the Federal Government, the World Bank, and our development partners to ensure the effective implementation of these initiatives in line with the administration’s Rescue Agenda.
