Kogi State Governor Ahmed Ododo has ordered security agencies to launch an immediate manhunt for the killers of Mr. Durowaye Folusho, who was murdered yesterday morning at Ayetoro Kiri in Kabba/Bunu local government area of the state, and other criminal elements in the state.
The governor, in response to the incident, also directed a thorough and expedited investigation to ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended and brought to justice without delay.
To forestall further violence, the state’s security adviser has been tasked with beefing up security in Ayetoro Kiri and neighboring communities, aimed at safeguarding residents and preventing any recurrence.

While extending condolences to the bereaved family, the people of Ayetoro Kiri, and the entire Kabba/Bunu area, the government reaffirmed that the safety of citizens remained a top priority.
