In a statement issued yesterday by the governor’s chief press secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, said Kure was expected to build on “Maiyaki’s excellent work, which has transformed the media corporation into a strategic vehicle for effective public information dissemination and management.’’

He described the new managing director as a public communication expert and political strategist, who will bring to his new assignment his wealth of experience in various fields, including public service and banking.’’

The media said Kure had earlier served as the chairman of Jaba local government area from 2016 to 2017, executive secretary, Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency from 2018 to 2019, and special adviser (Political Matters) to the Kaduna State governor from 2019 to 2021.

While congratulating Kure on his well-deserved appointment, Governor Sani wished him God’s guidance and protection.
