Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has relieved Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello of his position as commissioner for Information and member of the State Executive Council (SEC).

In a statement issued yesterday by the governor’s chief press secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, he said the governor appointed Ahmed Maiyaki, the managing director of Kaduna State Media Corporation, as the new commissioner of information.

While wishing Prof. Bello success in his future endeavours, the governor acknowledged the former commissioner’s services as the pioneer commissioner of education and information under Governor Uba Sani’s administration.
