In a congratulatory message issued by his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, on Wednesday, the governor said, “Your reign has witnessed remarkable transformation in traditional leadership and meaningful collaboration with government institutions for the betterment of our people.

“Indeed, your fatherly guidance and statesmanlike disposition have remained a source of inspiration to both the government and the governed.

“Your leadership symbolises unwavering commitment to unity, cultural preservation, youth development, and harmonious coexistence among the diverse people of our state, and that continues to earn him the respect and admiration of all.”

“The emir’s compassion is evident through his philanthropic support for the less privileged, regardless of tribe, region, or faith,” the speaker said in a statement by his media aide, Garba Mukhtar Kobi.

He added, “His commitment to responsible parenting has helped nurture a generation of honest, hardworking, and visionary young people. He remains a strong pillar for restoring societal values, ethical conduct, and respect for constituted authority.”

Speaker Abubakar noted that the emir consistently promotes public health awareness, environmental cleanliness, and grassroots initiatives, often encouraging community-driven development without waiting for government intervention.

“The emir’s impact is enduring, not just in Bauchi State but across the nation,” he added.

The speaker emphasised that the emir’s 15-year reign has been marked by selfless service, community transformation, and the revival of cherished cultural values.
