Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has congratulated the Clerk of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Barrister Rukaiyatu Adamu Jalo, on her re-election as Chairperson of the Forum of Clerks of State Legislatures of Nigeria.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the development as a well-deserved honour and a source of pride for the people of Gombe State, noting that Barr. Jalo’s renewed mandate is a reflection of her proven leadership, professionalism and commitment to the advancement of legislative governance in Nigeria.
He added that her continued leadership at the national level will strengthen legislative institutions as well as promote best practices and collaboration across state assemblies for the overall benefit of Nigeria’s democratic process.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya also commended the leadership of the Gombe State House of Assembly, under Rt. Hon. Abubakar Mohammed Luggerewo, for maintaining a robust and harmonious relationship with the executive arm of government, a partnership that continues to promote good governance and institutional synergy in the state.
The Governor assured Barrister Rukaiyatu of the continued support of the Gombe State Government as she embarks on another tenure of impactful service, and wished her continued success in her national assignment.
