In a show of solidarity, the special adviser to Kaduna State governor on political affairs, Hon Rachael Averik, has condoled with the people of Amber community in Sanga local government area of Kaduna State over attacks by bandits.
Averik visited the people of Ambe in Arak chiefdom, Sanga local government area to express her heartfelt condolences.
The visit was prompted by the bandits’ attack of Sunday, 5th May 2024, which claimed six lives, while eight others who were wounded are still receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, Nasarawa State.
In addition to her emotional support, Averik donated an undisclosed amount of money to the bereaved families to alleviate their financial burdens.
She also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and for the deceased families to find the strength to bear their loss.
“We stand with the people of Ambe during this trying period. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families as they navigate through this painful time. We will continue to support and provide assistance in any way we can,” she said.
