‎The Olubadan of Ibadan’s daughter, Grace Ladoja, has made history as the first African woman to design a Nike shoe.
‎
‎Her Air Max Plus, created in collaboration with Nike and connected to the Homecoming  Festival in Lagos, draws deeply from African culture and identity.
‎Congratulations to her.

Grace Ladoja, who holds the British honorary title MBE, is a British music executive born in London to Nigerian parents.
‎
‎At Music Week magazine’s annual UK awards night in 2017, Ladoja received the Rising Star award. At the 2021 awards night, Ladoja received the Entrepreneur award.
