The national president of the Zaar Development Association (ZDA), Engr. Yusuwa Gallah, has lauded Governor Bala Mohammed for the creation of the First Gum Zaar Chiefdom in Bauchi State, describing the gesture as a milestone achievement that reflects inclusive governance and equity.
Speaking to journalists in Bauchi, Engr. Gallah said the actualisation of the Chiefdom marked the fulfilment of a long-standing dream of the Zaar people after years of struggle, adding that the development has brought renewed hope and pride to the entire community.
“This Chiefdom is a clear testimony of Governor Bala Mohammed’s commitment to the development of all parts of Bauchi State. He is indeed God-sent to take the state to the next level,” Gallah said.
He noted that sons and daughters of the Zaar community were united in joy over the creation, expressing appreciation to the state government for responding to their yearnings and aspirations.
Gallah, however, urged members of the Zaar community, especially the youth, to embrace peace and unity now that the agitation for a Chiefdom has been achieved. He said the association is reaching out to all aggrieved persons to ensure enduring peace and progress in the area.
The ZDA president also cautioned youths against using social media to spread divisive or negative content, warning that anyone found posting inciting materials would face the full weight of the law.
Instead, he encouraged them to use digital platforms to promote development and showcase the positive image of Zaar land, Bauchi State, and Nigeria at large.
