The Alliance for Sustainable Kwara (ASK) has hailed the pragmatic measures taken by the Kwara State government towards combating insecurity in parts of the state.

Rising from its monthly meeting yesterday, the pro-democracy group also hailed the governor for showing great solidarity with the people of the troubled communities in the state.

In a statement signed by its chairman, Alhaji Razaq Lawal and secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, expressed solidarity with the governor in the fight against acts of criminality in the state.

The association’s chairman had at the weekend paid a solidarity visit to the governor at the Government House, Ilorin.

During the meeting, members of the association took turns to eulogise the governor for providing right leadership for the people of the state.

They noted AbdulRazaq administration’s giant strides in all sectors and described the governor as a God-sent leader.

They enjoined the people of the state, especially those whose communities have been invaded by bandits recently, to complement the government’s efforts at combating insecurity by providing credible information to security agencies.
