Rising from its monthly meeting on Tuesday in Ilorin, the state capital, the pro-democracy group also lauded Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq for showing great solidarity with the people of the troubled communities in the state.

In a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Razaq Lawal and secretary, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, ASK expressed solidarity with the governor in the fight against criminality activities across the state.

The chairman had at the weekend paid a solidarity visit to the governor at the Government House, Ilorin where members of the association eulogised the governor for providing right leadership for the people of the state.

They noted Gov AbdulRazaq’s administration’s strides in all sectors, describing him as a God-sent leader.

ASK further enjoined the people of the state, particularly those whose communities have been invaded by the bandits in recent times, to compliment efforts of the government towards ridding the state of insecurity by providing credible information to the security agencies.

The group also sympathised with the people of Edu and Patigi local government areas over the invasion of their communities by bandits.
