Enilolobo, who spoke through a member of his Central Working Committee (CWC), Prince Adewale Arogundade, praised President Tinubu’s strategic initiatives and numerous accomplishments over the past year, which have significantly impacted Nigeria’s domestic and international standing.

While hailing the president’s achievements, he assured Nigerians of even greater advancements in the coming year, judging by what he was able to achieve in his first year in office.

According to him, “Tinubu has engaged in pivotal bilateral meetings and international summits. Notably, his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led to the lifting of the visa ban on Nigerian travellers and the resumption of flights by Etihad and Emirates Airlines. This meeting also resulted in agreements for new investments worth billions of U.S. dollars in various sectors, including defence and agriculture.”

He also lauded  Tinubu’s meeting with King Charles III of the United Kingdom, who is also the head of the Commonwealth and a passionate climate advocate, saying, ‘This meeting underscored the importance of climate action and set the stage for collaborative efforts at COP28 to establish equitable global environmental standards.’

He mentioned how Tinubu solidified Nigeria’s international relations. The President attended the G20 Compact with Africa Economic Conference in Berlin, where he held insightful discussions with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

“These discussions focused on attracting German investment in Nigeria’s energy and transportation sectors, particularly in natural gas, hydrogen production, and rail transportation. Tinubu also emphasized expediting the Siemens-supported Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) in Nigeria,” he stressed.

Enilolobo hailed Tinubu’s administration for launching several transformative infrastructure projects, pointing to the flagship 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, designed to enhance connectivity and boost economic activities across nine states. Additional projects include; the Sokoto-Badagry Highway and the Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja Road, which are expected to revolutionize transportation and infrastructure in Nigeria.
