The group, which is made up of progressive political parties in the state, judged the gubernatorial election in Kogi state as the most peaceful and credible election since the advent of democracy in the state.

While addressing a world press conference yesterday in Lokoja, the forum congratulated the winner of the gubernatorial election in Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo the candidate of APC.

The chairman of the group, Alh. Idrisu Bala congratulated INEC for having painstakingly followed the processes of conducting the most freest, credible and transparent election since 1999 democratic governance.

He said, “This election is substantially in compliance with the electoral laws, and the electoral umpires have followed the electoral guidelines as amended. This election is unequivocally devoid of any iota of sentiments, agenda sitting or ethnicity, INEC announced the result after due diligent collation of results from all local government areas of Kogi State and we make bold to say that this election is free, fair and credible and therefore acceptable to us.”
