The group, in a statement issued by the Speaker through the Director of Host Communities and Environment, Comr. Israel Ebiama Theophilus, commended Eyesan’s well-deserved appointment, highlighting her 30 years of experience and positive track record in the oil industry.

The commended Eyesan’s leadership, crediting her with increasing the NNPC’s daily oil production by 25,000 barrels per day.

It also acknowledged her efforts in promoting the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) as a more affordable fuel alternative.

The NDYP emphasised Eyesan’s character, capacity, and competence, urging Nigerians to unite in support of her. The group condemned the negativity directed towards Eyesan and advised her critics to engage constructively.

“The Niger Delta Youth Parliament urges you on, please don’t be distracted, continue your good work. We have total confidence in your capacity, competence, and character,” the statement said.
