The UAGGL also urged critics, particularly the four Ijaw Youth Council National Executives from Rivers State, to cease their negative campaigns.

In a statement issued by the National Leader, Comr. Israel Ebiama Theophilus, the group commended Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri’s well-deserved appointment, highlighting his years of experience and positive track record in governance.

The UAGGL emphasised Lokpobiri’s character, capacity, and competence, urging Nigerians to unite to support him. The group condemned the negativity directed towards Sen. Lokpobiri and advised his critics to engage constructively.

“The UAGGL urges you to continue your good work and not be distracted. We have total confidence in your capacity, competence, and character,” the statement concluded.
