The group through its National Coordinator Comrade Nwokoma Messiah and Director of Publicity Odongiyon Oluwatobusin described negative reports of activities of the Port Harcourt based clergy as a calculated attempt to bring to disrepute, programmes of the church and the foundation which has been touching lives positively.

The statement which described an attempt to bring to disrepute the popular man of God, also condemned a report that gave negative coloration as to the fate of the parents and siblings of the late Deborah Samuel in Port Harcourt, said any reasonable person who read the reports will notice a calculated attempt to taint the efforts of the clergy in bad light.

OPM

“Is it the fault of this kind man that the car the man got from him broke down? Which car does not break down in this country? They also posted of customers not patronising the restaurant that was established for the mother of the late Christian martyr but the question again is that is it the church or the man that will attract customers to the place? The whole report by the so called news blog is fake and an attempt to manipulate people into thinking that the positive efforts of Apostle Chinyere is fake and ill intended.

“We condemn this atavistuc resort to manipulations and mendacious reportages and we are calling on the publishers to report what was told them and not to hoodwink unsuspecting readers towards believing their lies”

“To this end, we are calling them to retract their evil reportage else we will petition the appropriate and relevant institutions for action”

The group also alleged that the same elements who are scared of the rising profile of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere were responsible for encouraging the Dancing Boys and escalating the issues to satisfy their evil intentions. It said the sequence with which the events are unfolding showed that it is well calculated to suit an evil agenda and purpose.

The Niger Delta Renaissance Organisation NDRO described Apostle Chinyere as a gift not only to the Niger Delta region but to the country in general. It said no amount of campaign of calumny will distract him from the purpose which God has called him for. The group encouraged him not to allow such elements distract him stressing that the gate of hell cannot stop the good works which God is using him for in the life of humanity.
