A non-governmental organisation (NGO) Executive Diamond Ladies (EDWO) has charged Nigerian women to be diligent and committed as they play their roles in nation building.
Its convener, Hannah Oyebanjo, stated this yesterday, at the inaugural annual end-of-year get-together of the group, titled: “Reconnect, Reset And Recharge”, held in Lagos.
Oyebanjo, who is also the managing director of Redwood Consulting, reiterated the importance of self-care and resilience in achieving corporate and individual goals.
According to her, it takes a “well-balanced, cool, collected, and psychologically fit” woman to deliver her role efficiently in an organisation.
She said, ‘‘EDWO is committed to providing its members with the resources and support they need to achieve their full potential. The organization offers a variety of programmes and services, including leadership development opportunities, networking events, mentorship programmes, and Professional development workshops.
‘’EDWO is a valuable resource for women who are looking to advance their careers and make a difference in the world. The organization’s annual get-together is a testament to the power of women coming together to support and empower each other,” Oyebanjo disclosed
Also at the event, EDWO Alumni chairperson, Funmi Ogunbiyi, said the 2023 get together was an avenue to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
