The COLE’ctive Initiative has announced a citizen-powered programme designed to convert creativity into jobs, enterprise and inclusive economic opportunity across Rivers State.

A statement issued yesterday in Abuja  by the founder of COLE’ctive Initiative, Tonye Cole, said it operates in all 319 wards across Rivers State and recognised the creative sector, arts, fashion, music, film, design, crafts and digital content—as both a cultural asset and an economic engine.

The programme integrates creativity into civic participation, enterprise development, and media visibility—ensuring that creative talent is organised, supported, and scaled.

Tonye Patrick Cole,  reframes creativity as productive infrastructure rather than informal activity.

“Creativity is not a side economy—it is a serious driver of jobs, identity, and opportunity,” said Mr. Tonye Patrick Cole.

He said the statewide Creative Enterprise Framework COLE2Crea8 is designed to support creators as entrepreneurs—linking skills, visibility, and markets into a coherent creative economy pipeline.

He said, the programme is built to share platforms for collaboration and growth. At scale, COLE2Crea8 is structured to engage 319,000 creatives and creative entrepreneurs across Rivers State.
