The Renew Hope Continuity Marshals has called on Nigerians to support the sustenance of ongoing efforts by the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rejuvenate the economy.

In a statement by National Coordinator of the group, RT. Hon. Osawemwenhio Uwagboe, urged Nigerians to appreciate and continue to support President Bola Tinubu’s passion and sincerity for overall socio-economic development of the country.

He said, “It is well known that government policies such as deregulation and liberalization are positive policies that, however, require initial public sacrifice before bringing about national economic prosperity.

“The leadership of the Renew Hope Continuity Marshals will equally wish to use this opportunity to emphasize that President Tinubu’s policies hinged on the Renew Hope Agenda are yielding positive results.

“The recent downward slope in food prices, petrol prices, and the appreciation of the naira against the dollar are all indicative of his commitment to sustainable development. We also commend his efforts in fighting banditry and terrorism, which are constituting great security threat to our existence as a nation. So also is the implementation of people oriented policies in the Agricultural, education, health, youth development, solid minerals, energy and other key sectors on our nation economy which are equally making positive impacts.

“The Renew Hope Continuity Marshals is a unified and deliberate synergy of like-minded past student leaders, youth and young adults from across Nigeria, who have resolved that it’s high time for our country to make progress, regardless of the circumstances and challenges we are currently facing as a nation and people.

“We believe that progress is the only alternative, and we’re committed to achieving it, no matter the cost or implications. One unique thing about this group is that we belong to different political persuasions and beliefs but with a common denominator as a binding force: We believe in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that Nigeria will progress and prosper under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“This resolve is motivated and fueled by the obviously demonstrated sincerity and commitment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to restore this country on the path of genuine development, prosperity, stability and progress.”

Uwagboe further said the cardinal objective of the Renew Hope Continuity Marshals is to promote the laudable giant strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR since assumption of office, adding that the movement stands on the mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu beyond 2027.

“We urge President Tinubu to remain focused on his commitment to sustainable development of our great country Nigeria and not to be deterred by the antics of political marabouts and jobbers who are currently regrouping under different political nomenclature.

“We reaffirmed our hope and commitment to the unity and co-operate existence of this country as one indivisible entity in spite of the current security challenges and pledged our continuous cooperation and support to both the legislature and the Executive arm of the government in their bid in stamping out corruption from Nigeria,” the statement said.
