Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Rodri will not feature for the team against Fulham in Tuesday’s Premier League clash. Rodri last appeared as a late substitute in the victory over Bournemouth at the start of November but has not started a match since the 1 October draw at Monaco.
In a conversation with the club’s website, the Spanish tactician was asked if Rodri would feature against Fulham, to which he replied that he would be absent from the game. “Not yet.”
There is little margin for error for Manchester City if they are to challenge Arsenal in the title race, with Arteta’s men setting the tone early on and becoming the favourites to lift the trophy in May 2026.
