Guber Polls: Uba Sani Empowers Kaduna Traders With N20m, Receives Decampees

Kaduna State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flag bearer Senator Uba Sani has empowered under privileged traders with twenty million naira.

Sani said the funds will help the traders to secure the 10% equity to own shops in the markets across the state.

He announced the N20m donation at the weekend when the Arewa Traders Association in collaboration with the Kaduna State Traders Association from the 23 local government areas declared their support for his governorship bid and presidential ambition of APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While addressing attendees at the event held in Kaduna, Sani  thanked the association for coming together to declare their support for his candidacy and the APC in Kaduna State.

Sani gave a run down of some of his efforts as a Senator representing Kaduna Central and Chairman, Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions through which he facilitated CBN interventions to assist over 12,000 households and SMEs with grants/loans to boost their businesses, following the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on the economy.

While assuring them of his commitment to consolidate the efforts of the present administration in boosting the economy of Kaduna  state, he reiterated his pledge to continue to facilitate soft loans to assist more traders who are in need of business capital.

Uba Sani however, received decampees from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
