Gumi: Government Knows Name, Location Of Every Terrorist

Kaduna-based Islamic cleric and scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has revealed that it is easier to meet and see President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other Presidents than to see terrorist leaders such as Bello Turji in the deepest forests.

Gumi in an interview with DRTV obtained by our correspondent in Kaduna, said the Nigerian government knows every terrorist operating in the country by name and location.

Though the interview time was not ascertained. the cleric who visited terrorist camps in forests to persuade them to embrace peace, said he never negotiated with terrorists alone.

Gumi maintained that all his peace visits to the terrorists in the bush were with the knowledge and approval of the police and other security agencies.

According to Gumi, “The government knows every terrorist by name and location. I don’t go to the terrorists alone, I call the police, security and everybody. I will go to the emirs of that place.

Infact, when I went to one forest I went even with women, we went to the bush together. I don’t go alone. To go to forests and see terrorist leaders like Bello Turji in the deepest of the forest, it is easier for you to see the President,” he stated.

Speaking on the alleged Christians genocide in Nigeria by President Donald Trump, Gumi argued that both Christians and Muslims were victims of terrorism, “Christians don’t need President Donald Trump to protect them, Christians can protect themselves” he said.
