Gunmen Abduct Company’s MD, 3 Others In Lagos

Demand $1.5m ransom

The Managing Director of Fouani Company, owners of LG and Hisense, along three Lebanese were kidnapped on Friday around Falomo Bridge while traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island by boat.

While the names of the victims are yet to be disclosed, a witness who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the kidnappers have reached out demanding a ransom of $1.5 million.

“Yesterday (Friday) evening, the Managing Director of Fouani company and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge while traveling from Apapa to Victoria Island by boat.

“The kidnappers have asked for $1.5m,” the source said.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said that detailed information cannot be given immediately because of the sensitivity of the incident.
