Gunmen Kidnap Abuja Musician, Band Members

An Abuja-based musician, Omoba De Jombo Beats, and his band members have allegedly been kidnapped while returning from an event on Sunday.

A fellow musician, Adeyinka Adeboye, also known as Boye Best, revealed this in a post shared on his Instagram account.

The post read, “A whole band of members kidnapped. Nigeria is messed up. I swear my prayers are with you guys. You will all come out alive.”

He said they were kidnapped by unknown gunmen after performing live at a show in Abuja over the weekend.

According to Boye Best, the kidnappers are demanding N10 million ransom to release them.

Reacting to the incident, an Instagram user: noblenaire, wrote: “May God save you all from the hands of the wicked broke and evil-hearted.”

Another user: onyinlomodiamond, wrote: “You all shall come back safely unhurt. The blood of Jesus is upon u… None of you will be hurt.”

Mcbeloved wrote: “You will get back home to your family unhurt.”
