A source said that the armed kidnappers arrived at the residence on a motorcycle but left the scene in their victim’s Lexus car.

The incident, LEADERSHIP learnt, has plunged Iseyin into panic amid renewed security threats in the community and its environs.

The victim was abducted at her residence in the evening of Thursday May 16, at 8pm in a saddening development characterised by sporadic shooting.

The heavily hooded kidnappers also slaughtered the security guard manning the house before storming the parlour where their target was watching television.

Family source said that the kidnappers had reached out to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria demanding ransom.

“They have called SAN and made their points clear,” a source said.

“They want a ransom. But they have not stated the amount they want to collect. Everyone is now in panic,” the source said

Security personnel have been stationed at the Raji’s residence along Iseyin-Saki Road to guarantee safety amid escalating fears.

Police operatives, Amotekun, men of Operation Burst and others were seen at the house’s gate, while some others were stationed at the entrance gate of former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha.
