Hardship: Akwa Ibom Community Lauds NGO

To relieve the rural Akwa Ibom community dwellers of poverty in these hard times, the Utipmfon Jimmy Foundation (UJF), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), is set to honour its founder, Prof. Utipmfon Jimmy, with a grand reception.

Prof. Jimmy, a Philippines-based medical practitioner, made the statement available to LEADERSHIP in Uyo, the state capital, on Monday. He said the event will take place on December 21, 2024, at his country home in Ibiaku Ntok Okpo, Ikono local government area of the state.

The organisers said the event will attract notable role models from the Nigerian entertainment industry and other prominent leaders.

“The highly anticipated event is expected to attract top Nigerian celebrities, including Gospel singers Moses Bliss, Promise Effiong, Nollywood stars – Okon Lagos, Charles Okocha and veteran Charles Inojie.

“Content Creators expected are Mc Mbakara, Flower Boy and Untouchable, and the rave of the moment Ikpa Udo, who is an Ambassador of the NGO.
