The founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church (SRKC), in Akwa Ibom State, Apostle John Okoriko, has admonished Nigerians to look up to God as the only leeway towards the prevailing socio-economic challenges in the country, and urged Nigerians to open doors of their hearts  for God’s intervention.

Speaking while declaring open the ongoing four – day prayer and fasting convention at West Itam Secondary School ground at Itam, in Itu local government area  on the theme; “An Open Door, No Man Can Shut”, Okoriko blessed youths of the church for their efforts to host the end of year meeting and charge Nigerians  to open their hearts for God to dwell.

Okoriko, who does not believe in the existence of Satan and witches, disclosed that he would dwell on the strategic  messages throughout  the four days the convention would subsist.

He listed the expository  messages in the remaining  days to include enlightening the church to know that; “every man or woman was created with a door in their souls, the Lord our creator is a door by himself, Heaven has a door, and the gospel of Jesus  has a door by itself among others.”

He explained that “in this four days, we would dwell on issues such as every man or woman were created with a door in their souls, the Lord our creator is a door by himself, Heaven has a door by itself , the gospel of Jesus Christ has a door as well as intercessory prayers for the state, Nigeria and the world at large.”

Okoriko, therefore, disclosed that “no man can run away from  doors in his life,” adding that doors which Jesus Christ has opened for his believers no man can shut.”

He said: “ When you know the truth , it can set you free . Truth can’t do anything except it is made known.”

The cleric, therefore drew the participants to what he described as wilderness of revelation as every Prophet in the days of old had to pass through  the wilderness.

Reading the  scriptures from the book of Luke 4: 16-22 , Okoriko assured participants in the convention that every close door will be opened as recorded in Revelation 3:8.

“ Man was created in the image of God and has doors in himself, adding that every door has a purpose, as applicable in  literal buildings where all doors in an edifice have a purpose.

“ The door God created in man is for his safety and protection .  Nothing can come into you without knocking your door as a rule applicable to doors in a literal buildings.”

Okoriko maintained that God’s salvation is by grace but noted that every grace is tied to labour.

“ Though there is an open door , there must be a little effort to activate the opening of doors in one’s life.”

“ You can shut the door of your life against poverty , frustration and enemy but  if you don’t know the truth , you will expose yourself,” he said.

Okoriko, the author of the book Every Satan Has A Human Face, assured participants in the Gospel Convention that they would experience an unprecedented transformation in their lives at the end of the programme.

“ Do you know why I say there is no Satan , demon, witches, juju or witches? It is because I have a door I can shut against them.

“Since I started preaching at the age of 25 years old, I have escaped conspiracy, murder attempt on my life, kidnapping and other things because I have a door in my body which I shut against them”

He urged believers to open the door of their hearts and make decisions that will change their lives.
