Hardship: Lawmaker Lifts Constituents With Palliatives

House of Representative member for Ojo Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Seyi Sowunmi, has distributed essential items and foodstuff to constituents.

The event took place at Ajagbandi High School, Ojo. Sowunmi of the Labour Party said the initiative showed his commitment to giving back to the community during this festive season.

Items shared were 1,200 bags of rice, 100 units of five-litre vegetable oil, 3,000 pieces of spaghetti, and 988 baby diapers.

The distribution was not just about material support; it signified his dedication to ensuring families in Ojo access necessities when they are most needed.

Sowunmi also displayed his commitment to promoting health and catering to children and women by distributing 800 sanitary pads and 400 pieces of children’s wear, five yards of Guinea material to 400 individuals, 1,200 packets of seasoning cubes, and six yards of wax prints to 400 people.

The initiative brought joy and relief to families in Ojo and reinforced the importance of community solidarity and the spirit of giving during the holiday season.
