In an increasingly data-driven business landscape, we recognise the fundamental role of information in steering multiple verticals. Our primary objective is to thoroughly comprehend our users’ needs, thereby tailoring our offerings to meet their exact demands.

At our company, we consider data as the beacon of justice and fairness, illuminating our path as we navigate through the marketplace. By leveraging this abundant resource, we strive to bring forth an environment of transparency, fairness, and value to our esteemed clientele.

The human propensity towards mobility is an aspect we greatly acknowledge. This inherent characteristic of moving from one point to another forms the bedrock of our strategy.

How has data helped to optimise efficiency in business operations to improve profitability?

Data improvement has helped to manage and deliver our services while getting feedback from the market. Also, data efficiency has helped to improve our marginal offerings to our mobility audience. It has a way of boosting our profitability because we are able to make informed decisions with data, and this ensures that we are more sustainable in bringing more deliverables to our customers by launching new verticals as well as improving our offerings and more feedback in the ride-hailing Industry in Nigeria.

With your understanding of the ride-hailing business in Nigeria, what are emerging opportunities for businesses?

Trade and commerce is really influenced by movement.  With the growth of e-commerce, there is a need for mobility, and InDrive fits into that. Ride-hailing is at the centre. We find many people delivering goods, packages, and products from one place to another, and this is what boosts our market opportunities in emerging markets. So, many of the market opportunities are untapped in this segment, and we are launching swiftly with our courier offering. More and more opportunities in the trade and commerce sector are going the electronic way.

How well will organisations take advantage of data given the growing adoption of smartphones in Nigeria and the increasing youth population?

Specifically, at inDrive, we are leveraging data to enhance the quality of our products and to mitigate and control potential challenges that pose comparable risks to our business. This is the reason why we continuously refine our products to ensure their excellence, as our primary reliance is on data for the enhancement of the offerings we provide. We base our work on available data and product development, customizing solutions, and the modules we provide. The manner in which we deploy them, administer them, and incorporate them into our business solutions are all directed by the data at hand. All these actions are driven by the accessible data. We are capitalizing on data for the progress of the ride-hailing business in Nigeria.

inDrive is also leveraging data to gain insight into consumers’ demands and behavior. Our rebranding in October 2022 has received positive feedback from users, particularly the drivers within our network platforms. This feedback serves as a testament to the efficiency of our products, indicating that we are successfully utilising data to provide effective solutions. At inDrive, we harness the power of data analytics and advanced technologies to gather, analyze, and interpret large volumes of consumer data. Through this extensive data collection, we gain valuable insights into our customers’ demands and behavior. By understanding their preferences and identifying trends, we can make well-informed business decisions that align with the evolving needs of our customers.

What competitive advantage does inDrive have over others?

inDrive is a trailblazer in the human tech landscape, a company that has ingeniously integrated data utilisation into its business model without infringing on user rights. It’s a principle we stand by firmly, acknowledging the importance of data in enhancing our services, yet equally valuing our users’ right to privacy.

inDrive stands out from competitors by leveraging the peer-to-peer model. Unlike others, we connect drivers and users directly, creating a community and offering personalized and efficient experiences. Through this model, we expand our network, gather valuable insights, and continuously improve our services. We prioritise a mutually beneficial ecosystem where drivers and users feel valued, leading to exceptional experiences and happier customers. In summary, the peer-to-peer model makes inDrive unique, promoting community, personalization, efficiency, and satisfaction for all.

What are the challenges of the ride-hailing ecosystem?

The complexities of the ecosystem in which we operate, including economic nuances and supply side considerations, fuel costs, environmental concerns, and the ease of conducting business, all present unique opportunities for strategic planning and resilience in the ride-hailing business. These factors, inherent in our marketplace, allow us to continually hone our adaptability and problem-solving skills. Despite these multifaceted challenges, our robust product stands firm. We take pride in our numerous accomplishments and the resilience we have demonstrated in various circumstances.
