Among the dozen or so digital exchanges in the country, The Shawn Exchange has been the standout entity of 2022 courtesy of its brand ambassadors who have been big hits among young people who trade in bitcoins, gift cards and other forms of cryptos.

The popularity of the digital vendor skyrocketed when it added popular comedian Oga Sabinus to its stable of brand ambassadors. Sabinus (real name Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu) winner of the 2022 Online Social Content Creator Award of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in May, joined other brand ambassadors such as Lasisi Elenu, IsbaeU, Nas boy, RomeoWJ and Remote who are the faces of the digital vendor online.

Many observers have heaped praises on the Chief Executive Officer of The Shawn Exchange, Ajayi Oluwadamilare Michael, for his business savvy.
Others have pointed at the record of the Shawn Exchange boss as a serial entrepreneur as the reason for his success in the competitive digital exchange world.

As he had recalled on several occasions, Ajayi started his entrepreneurial odyssey selling garri and loaves of bread. He had gradually raised his game by taking tentative steps into the online business when he started Shawn Footies, an online footwear store. Having mastered the dynamics of e-commerce, he subsequently founded other online retail businesses including Shaw Autos, Shawn real Estate and Shawn Gadgets.

With digital payment and exchange becoming entrenched, he joined the fray by founding The Shawn Exchange which has quickly become popular among digital entrepreneurs and people who frequently make digital transactions.

During an Instagram live chat, Ajayi hinted that The Shawn Exchange is not yet done and may likely sign on more brand ambassadors in future.
