Headies 2025: Funke Akindele’s Movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ Wins ‘Sound Track Of The Year’ Award

A movie titled ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ by popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has won the category of ‘Sountrack of the Year’ in the 17th Headies Awards held in Lagos on Sunday night.

Other nominations for the category included ‘Eledumare’ by Teledalese, ‘Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre’, ‘Lose to Gain’ by Kaline, ‘Breath of Life’, ‘Kill Boro’ by Native Filmworks & Wizard Chan, ‘Orisa’ by Eriola, and ‘Emotions’ by Tiwa Savage & Asa (Water and Garri),

The Headies, known for celebrating outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry, saw a star-studded gathering this year.

Returning to Nigeria after two years, the awards ceremony featured 31 categories, including Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, and Next Rated.
