“l am happy that you were there yourselves, and your judgement was informed by what you saw on an eye witness account.

“We have established 140 Primary Healthcare Centers, upgraded six Primary Health centers to General Hospitals, and four General Hospitals to Specialist hospitals.

“We have equally re-equipped the Teaching hospital with the State-of-the-art facilities, and established Nigeria’s largest maternal and child care center all in a bid to bring Healthcare delivery to the doorstep of our people,” he said.

Governor Buni dedicated the award to the people of Yobe state for investing their mandate in him, and the workers for putting in their best to serve the people.

“I want to assure you that this award will inspire us more to serve our people better,” he said. The Governor called on the media to give equal attention to developments in the state and country as a whole.

“You should also look at the positive sides of the stories coming out of our states and country, and not to over concentrate on the negativities.”

“Some of the reports were never verified, others are past experiences that are no news but, only counterproductive to economic development and national growth.

“We all have responsibilities to build our nation, encourage resilience and inspire the leadership for good governance” Gov Buni emphasized.
