Heartland Football Club of Owerri has expressed profound sorrow upon learning of the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Mainu Mustapha, Chairman of El-Kanemi Warriors, following a short illness.

The management, players, coaching staff, and entire personnel of Heartland FC extend their deepest sympathies to his immediate family, the Board, management, supporters of El-Kanemi Warriors, and the wider Nigeria Premier Football League community during this difficult time.

In a statement signed by Robert Ogundu on behalf of Heartland FC, the late Mr. Mustapha was described as a dedicated administrator whose fervour, foresight, and commitment to the development of El-Kanemi Warriors and the national league will be fondly remembered. His leadership and contributions to the progression of club football in Nigeria have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire.

Heartland FC stands in solidarity with El-Kanemi Warriors during this period of grief and prays that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest and brings comfort to all those mourning his loss.
