‘Hello Chinese’ Programme Fosters Cultural Exchange, Language Learning In Africa – Wang

The Centre for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and StarTimes Group has announced the successful conclusion of the second season of the acclaimed television program, “Hello Chinese.”

The initiative has been widely praised for its role in bridging cultures and igniting a passion for the Chinese language among African audiences.

A statement issued by the chief executive officer of StarTimes Nigeria, Joseph Wang, said the collaborative program was designed to make learning Chinese both accessible and engaging. By breaking down complex language concepts into a step-by-step learning path, “Hello Chinese S2” effectively demystified the learning process.

“A key feature, the “Chinese Reading and Writing” segment, guided viewers from character pronunciation and stroke order to constructing complete sentences, transforming a challenging subject into an enjoyable journey of discovery.

“To ensure maximum reach and accessibility, the program was broadcast on a multi-channel schedule across the StarTimes network, including ST Sino Drama and ST Guide E, allowing viewers to learn at their convenience.
