Nigeria’s corporate and digital innovation landscape has received yet another moment of global spotlight as several Nigerian companies emerged winners at the prestigious World Business Outlook Awards 2025.

Among the standout honorees was HoganHost, one of the country’s fastest-rising web hosting companies, which secured two major international awards ‘Most Reliable Hosting Solutions Provider Nigeria 2025’ and ‘Best Web Hosting Company – Nigeria 2025’.

The recognition of HoganHost at such a global level comes as no surprise to many within the tech industry. Founded by Joseph Effiok Hogan and Atim Hogan, the company has become a powerhouse in web hosting, offering fast, secure, and affordable hosting services to thousands of individuals, startups, and large enterprises across Africa. HoganHost’s growth has been consistent, fueled by a strong customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering digital infrastructure that can compete with global standards.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, Joseph Effiok Hogan described the honour as a defining moment not just for the company but for Nigeria’s tech ecosystem. “This recognition is a proud moment for our entire team and our customers,” he said. “We’ve always believed that reliable digital infrastructure is the backbone of every successful online venture, and this validates our commitment to empowering Nigeria’s digital space.” Atim Hogan also expressed gratitude, stating that the company’s rise is rooted in trust, technology, and transformation.

HoganHost was not the only Nigerian brand recognised at the global awards. A number of prominent and emerging companies across different sectors were honoured, proving that Nigeria continues to expand its influence in innovation, finance, healthcare, and digital technology. Among the award recipients is First Bank of Nigeria, which bagged multiple recognitions including Best CSR Bank Nigeria 2025, Most Innovative Digital Banking Services Nigeria 2025, and Best Digital Solutions Bank in Myanmar 2025. The bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, was also named Banking CEO of the Year Nigeria 2025.

Avon Healthcare Limited emerged as Leading Health Maintenance Organization in Nigeria 2025 and also received recognition for Most Outstanding Contribution to Preventive Healthcare Nigeria 2025. In the investment and finance sector, GTI Investment Group earned the awards for Best Tailored Financial Solutions Provider Nigeria 2025 and Most Innovative Cutting-edge Investment Banking Services Provider Nigeria 2025. Other notable winners include Coinazer, recognized as Best Emerging Cryptocurrency Exchange Nigeria 2025, and EN1 Technologies, awarded Most Sustainable Automotive Company Nigeria 2025.

As global attention continues to shift toward Africa’s digital potential, HoganHost’s rise shows what is possible when visionary leadership meets technological ambition. With demand for hosting services, digital products, and online business infrastructure increasing rapidly across the continent, the company appears positioned to play a leading role in shaping the future of Nigeria’s digital economy.

The World Business Outlook Awards 2025, once again, has placed Nigeria on the global stage, celebrating companies that are not only driving excellence locally but also competing confidently with their peers worldwide.
