The member representing Bali Gassol federal constituency and chairman of Nigeria-China Relations, Jafaru Yakubu Chiroma, has secured a world-class modern secondary school for the Gassol local government area (LGA) of Taraba State.
The school, which will be furnished with modern teaching facilities, is set to equip members of the community with the tools necessary to transform Gassol.
This revelation was contained in a press statement by the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of Bali/Gassol on Sunday.
“As part of the commitment to educational advancement in the Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency, Hon. Jaafar Yakubu Chiroma has secured the approval of a modern secondary school from the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
“This landmark achievement underscores the strong determination to educational upliftment of the constituent. The state-of-the-art secondary school is poised to revolutionise education in the community.
“Equipped with modern facilities, including well-furnished classrooms, science laboratories, and a well-stocked library, the institution will provide quality education to the youth of Gassol.
“It is part of a legislator’s mandate to relentlessly pursue a project of this magnitude with massive impact on our dear Constituency. The project is a testament to dedication to securing the future of the younger generation,” the statement reads.
The statement also commends the North East Development Commission (NEDC) for approving the project and encourages parents to enrol their wards when it comes to full fruition.
“Parents are encouraged to enrol their children in this prestigious institution and support their academic endeavours.
“This project would not have been actualised without the intervention of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and its invaluable support and partnership in making this dream a reality.
“NEDC’s commitment to educational development in our region is commendable and will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the lives of many. We are confident that this modern secondary school will serve as a catalyst for progress and prosperity.”
