Hotelier, Other Killed By Suspected Cultists

The owner of a guest house in Ogbogboro community of Yenagoa local government council of Bayelsa State, Tuesday Fati, was at the weekend killed by some persons suspected to be members of a cult group.

LEADERSHIP Sunday gathered that the suspected cultists who wore masks, stormed the guest house at about 2:30am and gained entrance into his home behind the hotel.

According to one of the nieces, some parts of the hotel were also destroyed.

One Famizibe Clarkson was also killed in the same area. LEADERSHIP Sunday could not however confirm if the two killings were related or carried out by a different group.

The Bayelsa State Police Command has commenced investigation into the killings.
