Popular actress and former Big Brother Naija star, Bisola Aiyeola, has shared the painful story of the death of her daughter’s father, describing his passing in 2018 as a shock that devastated her family.

Speaking during an interview on Ife Agoro’s show, Bisola revealed that the loss was unexpected because the family had been told he was getting better. She explained that he was in the hospital at the time, and they were already making plans for him to return home.

“We had even spoken over the phone, and he was sounding better. He said he would be discharged on a Friday. Someone later called me from his phone and said he was no more,” the actress recounted.

Bisola described the moment she had to tell her daughter, Leyla, who was only eight at the time, as one of the hardest things she had ever done. She noted that he had been a very active and caring father who checked on his daughter regularly.

The actress admitted that the news left her, her mother, and her sister in deep pain.
