HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV: Celebrating 45 Years Of Execellence

Born on the 16th of November, 1952, into the esteemed Chachi family of Bigger Cham Mona, HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV JP was destined for greatness from the outset. On the personal front, HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV JP’s union on the 30th of December, 1978, stands as a testament to his dedication to family values and stability. It is this foundation that has undoubtedly fortified his reign as Nidu Grah Cham (Dumbo).

Elevated to the esteemed position by the Cham kingmakers on the 14th of May, 1979, HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV JP embarked on a journey of leadership characterized by unwavering dedication and tireless service to his people. His tenure has been marked by progress, prosperity, and profound respect for tradition.

Beyond his duties as the Chief of Cham, HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV JP’s commitment to community welfare is evident in his numerous roles. As the Chairman of the Cham Traditional Council, a member of the Gombe State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Chairman of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Gombe State, and Patron of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria Gombe State, he has tirelessly championed causes that uplift and empower his people.

Despite his many responsibilities, HRH Chief Dr. James Chachi IV JP finds solace and joy in his hobbies, which include reading, traveling, and farming. These pursuits not only serve as outlets for personal enrichment but also underscore his deep connection to the land and its people.
