Hunger Protest: Airlines Experience Delay As Max Air Suspend Operation Indefinitely

Max Air, on Thursday, announced the suspension of its operation indefinitely starting from Friday, August 2, 2024 due to the ongoing hunger protest in the country.

However, as at the time of filing this report, only Max Air has announced suspension of its operation while others experienced delay as they record poor passenger turnout and flight delay.

In a statement by Max Air, the decision was made in the interest of ensuring a secure and reliable travel experience for its customers.

The airline further stated that the safety of passengers remained their utmost priority

“We regret to inform you that due to the general unrest in the country we have temporarily suspended our domestic flight operations for 2nd August 2024. Please know that your safety remains our top priority, and this decision has been made in the interest of ensuring a secure and reliable travel experience.
