HYPPADEC Inaugurates Servicom Office In Niger

The Hydro Power Producing Area Development Commission (HYPPADEC) has inaugurated its Servicom office in Niger State to enhance effective, timely and honest service delivery for citizens of the affected communities.

Managing Director of HYPPADEC, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, made this known at the inauguration and sensitisation of Servicom officer by the National Coordinator of Servicom in Minna.

He said this was aimed at ensuring they do what is expected of them in service delivery for optimal results in a very transparent manner.

Represented by the director, finance and administration, Mr Jimoh Haruna, the managing director commended Servicom for ensuring that it becomes phenomenal in the country to the benefit of the society.

In his remarks, the Niger State Head of Service, Engr Abubakar Salisu, applauded the management of the commission for living to the expectations of the people through vigorous pursuits of its mandates by intervening in various sectors of community across the six states of HYPPADEC.

The SERVICOM national coordinator, Mrs Nnena Akaegemili, said the mandate was to promote excellent service delivery through sustainable use of Servicom to develop and implement charter development in the system.

She lauded the transformation achievements and performances recorded by the HYPPADEC thus far by proffering solutions to numerous problems confronting the annual flooding in communities in the six states.

Akaegemili then challenged the inaugurated officers to imbibe principle of quality, timely and accessing service delivery, embark on training and retraining as well as  manage the internal and external demands.
