The CEO of Tegatron Entertainment, Ogun Prosper Christopher Oghenetega, in partnership with comedian MC Obaro, is set to host a spectacular event on Good Friday at Fiesta Hall in Ughelli, Delta State.
The show, Comedy Appointment With MC Obaro, will feature a star-studded lineup of Nigeria’s top skit makers, comedians, musicians, and other entertainers, all coming together to showcase their talents in an unforgettable performance.
Top rated performers from across the country pencilled down to be on stage that night include Maleke, Young Elder, I Go Dye, Edo Pikin and MC Casino among several others. This is not the first outing of Tegatron Entertainment which has been in existence for more than five years.
The outfit is also into movie production and one of the movies that it has produced is Nmou Mmiri, a movie that stars some of Nollywood’s most talked about role interpreters like Harry Anyanwu, Rita Edochie, Adim Christian and others.
It delves into the story of a young woman discovering her divine heritage as a reincarnation of Nmou Mmiri who must navigate the challenges of earthly life and her spiritual responsibility to save her village from impending disasters.
Oghenetega, a man of many parts as an actor, comedian, show promoter, film maker and entrepreneur, said that his investment in the entertainment sector is inspired by his desire to correct the negative narrative of youth restiveness resulting in vices that worsens the perception of Nigeria by other nationals.
“Although the country is blessed with abundance of talents, there exist very limited opportunity for the average youth to thrive and attain there full potentials.
One major challenge facing our young people is limited access to funding in the industry and limited platforms that allows them to thrive without bias or sentiments,” Oghenetega enthused.
