Founding chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chekwas Okorie, has declared that he predicted the victory of President Bola Tinubu after the judgment of the Presidential Election Petitions judgment.
Okorie, now a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress disclosed this to our correspondent shortly after the judgment of the Apex Court that affirmed the election of Tinubu as president.
He said did not expect a different outcome from the judgment of the tribunal on the ground that elections are won and lost at the polling units.
Okorie noted that when Peter Obi was their governorship candidate, they made sure that they recovered the forms for entering results immediately after the election.
He said the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) came out earlier to say that one of the parties that filed a petition at the court did not have agents in 30 per cent of the 196,000 polling units.
He, therefore, stated that he was not surprised by the Supreme Court judgment because he predicted the outcome.
“Well, the judgment of the Supreme Court was not a surprise to me because I predicted the outcome” he stated.
