In an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze, the 26-year-old striker shared how he used to fetch water and clean gutters to earn money as a child.

“There was a building in front of my house, a typical face-me-I-face-you setting. I used to fetch water for people there for N80,” he said.

“Most times, I would clean gutters when green things—spirogyra—started growing, and I got paid N30 for the work.”

He had previously revealed that he also sold sachet water and sport newspapers at the busy Ojota bus stop in Lagos to support his family.

Born on December 29, 1998, in Lagos, Osimhen is the youngest of six siblings. Known for his speed, strength, and powerful finishing, he has become one of the most feared strikers in the world of football.
