Famous Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, says he wants to collaborate with more American superstar stars following the success of his smash-hit with Selena Gomez, ‘Calm Down.’

In a side interview with Hollywood Reporter at 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey, on Tuesday, the singer specifically said he wants to work with female celebrities more.

He mentioned rappers, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion as some of those he is looking forward to working with soon.

He said, “I’m hoping to meet Meg [Thee Stallion], Nicki [Minaj] for possible collaborations. Who else? Yeah, I wanna link up with girls dem.”

LEADERSHIP reported that Rema beat Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy and others to become the first-ever winner of the newly created “Best Afrobeats Song” during the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, USA, on Tuesday.
