I Will Justify Confidence Reposed In Me, APC Reps Candidate Ajakaye Assures Constituents

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ife/Ife/Osun Federal Constituency of Osun State, Dr Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday promised to justify the trust reposed in him if elected in the 2027 National Assembly election.

The erstwhile chief press secretary to Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, also promised the people of his constituency quality representation at the National Assembly.

Ajakaye spoke during a separate follow-up thank-you visit to members of the APC in Offa and Oyun local government areas of the state.

He said he was in the two local governments to express appreciation to them for conceding the representative ticket to the Ifelodun local government since 1999, when the local government last produced a representative.

He was accompanied on the visit by the chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area, Hadji Femi Yusuf, and other party faithfuls from the local government.

Addressing party supporters, Ajakaye pledged to provide quality representation that would positively impact the lives of his constituents.

“I am irrevocably committed to representing my constituency well if elected. I will be a good Ambassador to you; I won’t look down on party members, and I will not be ungrateful to you.

“I will not disappoint you by the grace of Almighty Allah. I will justify the confidence you have reposed in me.

“I want you to support all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections from the president down to the state”, he said.

The chairman of Ifelodun local government, for his part, assured the people that Ajakaye will offer quality representation if elected.

“Ajakaye was not born with a Silver spoon and therefore would have the interest of the masses at heart “, he said

A former Kwara State House of Assembly leader, Dr Hassan Oyeleke, and the chairman of Offa Local Government Area, Alhaji Suleiman Olatunji, both assured the people that the representative candidate (Ajakaye) is an “honourable person” who would not disappoint them if given their mandate.

Also speaking in Ilemona, headquarters of Oyun local government, deputy speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly and a candidate for Oke-Ogun constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Ojo Olayiwola and the chairman of the local government, Engr Kamal Akanbi, described the candidate “as an honest and a straightforward person who will deliver “.

The people of the two local governments resolved to deliver their votes for the candidate and all the APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
