IAWPA Appoints Amb. Nnenna Ozoani As Head Of Election Mission In Nigeria

The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) has appointed Amb. Nnenna Ozoani as head of Election Mission in Nigeria.

A press statement made signed by Amb Emmanuel Nkweke, the International Spokesman of IAWPA, said her appointment was a testament to IAWPA’s commitment to credible elections in Nigeria.

The statement said her appointment will commence from the Anambra State governorship electionsstated for November 8, 2025, where IAWPA has already been given an international observation status.

IAWPA further stressed its commitment to credible elections through proper monitoring and observations by stating that as part of its commitment to promoting credible elections and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it will deploy a team of observers to monitor the electoral process in Anambra State.

“IAWPA has appointed Amb. Nnenna Uzoani as the Head of Election Observation to coordinate our efforts in ensuring a free, fair, and transparent election. Our team will observe the electoral process, assess compliance with electoral laws and regulations, and provide feedback to stakeholders,” the statement stated.

The association urged all stakeholders, including contestants, voters, candidates, and security agencies, to work together to ensure a peaceful and credible election, adding “IAWPA is committed to supporting the electoral process and promoting democracy in Nigeria.”
