As part of its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger, Ambassador Abel Kolade, a distinguished member of the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), recently led a food distribution initiative in Iyara community, Ijumu local government area of Kogi State.

The effort focused on providing essential food items to widows and elderly women, aiming to ease the burden on some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

Beneficiaries also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.

Speaking on the initiative, Amb. Kolade stated, “Our goal is to contribute to a hunger-free society, where everyone has access to nutritious food. We’re committed to supporting communities in need, and this is just the beginning.”

The outreach highlights IAWPA’s Eminent Peace Ambassadors’ unwavering commitment to peace, sustainable development, and humanitarian causes, leaving a lasting positive impact on communities across Nigeria.
