Former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has relocated to Abuja since Monday to unveil his much-awaited memoir today.

LEADERSHIP findings revealed that because of the book launch, IBB decided to move to Abuja to coordinate things with his son, Yomi Ogunbiyi, a former managing director of the Daily Times.
While the copies of the memoirs were kept sealed to prevent leaks, it was also gathered that the invitation was strictly for high-profile functionaries.

It was learnt from an insider that “even from Minna, not many people were invited for the unveiling of the memoir.”

The source also hinted that the invitation to the book’s unveiling was extended to only selected media and admission into the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton hotel, the event venue will be strictly by invitation.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be the special guest of honour, while former president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will deliver the keynote address.

Based on the arrangement, all living former Nigerian leaders are guests of honour, while the chief launchers are Abdul Samad Rabiu and General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd).
